The Manger of Planning & Analysis reports to the Vice President of Merchandising, and is responsible for leading all the pricing, promotional planning, and analytics that support the functioning teams. This will include the overall business planning process, managing operational budgets, ADHOC analysis, and Revenue and Margin management. The individual will create and manage a Sales and Operating scorecard that can be used as the benchmark for the business to tie together multiple areas and guide towards common goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Assesses customer behavior, sales trends, and promotional effectiveness and provides actionable recommendations
- Builds frameworks and methodologies for planning and analysis by leveraging existing resources and creating new innovative concepts. Develops effective working relationships with stakeholders to achieve targeted goals
- Translates strategic objectives into actionable analyses and plans. Champions pro-active sharing of information to drive results, process improvement and best practices
- Leads meetings with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives. Communicates and partners cross-functionally, including at the executive level, to understand, recommend and implement strategies
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
- Cultivates team moral, motivation, and loyalty through continuous training and mentorship
What You Should Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-10 year in similar job functions or comparable work experiences that are related to merchandising and/or marketing roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Experience using Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and/or other comparable tools
